Hello hello all,
Well we are now in Argentina and we are enjoying how cheap it is. Love it. Sunday we went to the Brazilian side of the falls. It was a gorgeous sunny day, which made it so much better. Both sides of the falls are worth visiting because they are so different. The Brazilian side gave a great overall view of the falls. Gorgeous. Will have pics up soon. After the falls we were going to see the huge dam there but found out it was closed on Sundays. Just not meant to be I guess. So we went back to the hostel and lounged by the pool(yes it had a pool!!) for the rest of the day. Loved it. We so needed some sunshine.
The next day we took the bus to Posadas, in Argentina, which is where we are right now. Its a city of about 250,000 people. Not really touristy, but we are enjoying it. Stayed in a skanky hotel last night, and decided to posh out tonight and are staying at the Hotel Continental, right on the main drag in the center of the city. Lots of cafes with tables on the side walks. They take the siesta very seriously here. And we have planned our day Argentinian style. Got up and have breakfast, wandered the city for a bit...everything closed at 12:30(seriously the streets were empty!!), so went back to the hotel for a siesta. Got up at 4:30, got ready for a night out! We are just quickly checking email(Clay is coming for sure and plans are in the works to meet!! Yahhooo!), checking out the shops, dinner, champangne at a cafe on the corner and then who knows!!Looking forward to a good night.
Take care all.
Cheers
