On Friday, Kathy and I decided to have a day by the pool, by ourselves. Of course everyone at the wedding was wonderful, but we just wanted a break from the group. So we got a spot by the pool and basked in the sun all day, mango daiquiris in hand! And we loved it! We had a great server all day who took very good care of us, and everyone stopped by to see us, and then carried on their way. I was blissfully happy that day. There were definitely not enough days by the pool drinking daiquiris!!
That night we had dinner reservations at the Three Palms, where the reception dinner was. Just Jer and the girls. Lucky guy. Lots of laughs, wine, and good food. A great night without the parents!
We just didn't want to leave so we sat at the bar for a while.
