Leaving on a Jet Plane

Well the time has FINALLY come! Tomorrow I leave for Rio de Janerio!! Me and Mikki leave at 1:30pm tomorrow and arrive in Rio at about 9:30am BC time the next day. Phew! Should be a very long day, but we will be flying through the night, so hopefully will snooze through most of it.

The plans are to spend at least a few days in Rio and then....well we don't really know. We shall see where our adventures take us. We might follow the coastline and be beach bums for a while, but will eventually head inland to see some famous fall on the border of Argentina. But we really just plan to see where life takes us, and enjoy the adventure along the way.

This past week has been super busy with visiting friends and family and lots of wedding events. This past Saturday my best friend Tre married her man, Chris, at a beautiful garden ceremony. The reception followed in the penthouse of the hotel, with the most amazing views of the sun setting over Vancouver. It was the most relaxed and beautiful wedding I have been to. I wish you both the best of the best!

I also had the chance to reunite with some people I haven't seen in years. It was great to see you all after so long!

So one final goodbye to you all. I hope you have a fantastic winter. This time I will only be gone for 6 months and I'm sure time will fly, as it tends to do when you are having fun. I will be sure to have a toast to you all on the beaches of Brazil.
