Getting away from it all...

Ahhh....the palm trees are swaying, the hammock is calling. On Wednesday night we arrived on Ilhe Grande. A beautiful island off the coast of Brazil, with a whopping 102 beaches! It's a beautiful place to be. It's so nice to be away from the city and in such a chilled out place. Our hostel is called Aquario, and it is right on the beach. The weather hasn't been that great(still warm, but mostly cloudy), but I'm not complaining. I love it here. Yesterday we spent the day on the beach, and came into town for a couple drinks and some dinner. We plan on hanging here till Monday, but we will see. We are hoping the weather will get better and we can do some snorkeling, and explore some of the other beaches. Right now we have stayed close to home, and explored the town a bit. Trying to recover from the fast pace of Rio!

So the adventure is takin a slower pace for a bit. Next week we will head further south and then inland to see the falls. Thinking of you all as i fall asleep to sound of the waves on the shore and the birds singing in the trees!
