I am soooo sore!!!

Buenos Tardes Amigos

So, where did I leave off.....well, on Wednesday night we went out. Didn´t go out till 12:30am, true Rupert styles. Went to a club and danced a bit, but weren´t too impressed so went home early....about 3am. They party so late here, it was just starting to get busy. We were a little hurting the next morning when we had to be up at 8am for horse back riding. What a day!! It took about an hour to drive out there, then they had to saddle up the horses. Aggie asked for the most gentle one, as she was a little nervous. This other guy asked for the biggest one. There were 8 of us and the two guides. They took us along some trails and up in the hills. It was beautiful country. Aggies horse was not in a good mood and kept trying to buck her off. She was not impressed. So she switched horses with one of the guides. And then Clays horse decided it did not want to walk and took off down the road and into a path in the trees. Clay had to jump of the horse, while it was running! Hes a little scraped up, but ok. And the other guys horse, we found out, was a polo horse and took off down the road. I don´t know how he stayed on. Miks horse was pregnant and had a huge bellie. Super cute. And my horse was perfect. She would run when I wanted her to and stop when I wanted her too. We rode for about 2 hours and then went back to the ranch for an excellent bbq lunch. Then just hung out on the beautiful property. We went back to the hostel around 6 and had dinner and then early to bed.

The next day me, Aggie and Ryan took the bus out to a small town to go for a hike. I was soooo hurting from riding horses, but we needed to get out of the city. The bus took about 2 hours and then we hiked into the hills to find the waterfall. We walked along this stream for ages, but didn´t find the waterfall. It was getting late so we had to head back. So after hiking for about 4 hours we were so tired. We got back to the hostel and went for dinner around 10pm. Had an awesome dinner, with super good service. Then back to the hostel. Me and Aggie decided to go out as it was our last night here, but everyone else stayed home. We only had 2 drinks, but managed to dance the night away until 5am. It was so fun. A big club packed with people, and our kind of music for most of the night.

Today, I am soo sore after horse back riding, hiking and dancing all night....my legs are killing me. Tonight there is a market, the best in Argentina some say, so we are going shopping! Then we leave for Mendoza on the 10pm bus. Yippeee! Staying at a very nice hostel, with a pool, and its supposed to be sunny, sunny, sunny! Looking forward to lounging by the pool and soaking in some rays. Check it out...www.damajuamahostel.com.ar

Next time....wine country!
Cheers
