NO SCHOOL!!!! YIPPEEEEEE!!!!

So the snow didn't stop and it snowed most of the night. The power went out, trees are falling down. It's crazy up here!!!! So that meant no school for the morning, but it didn't stop today, so NO SCHOOL ALL DAY! How happy am I! More pics from around the house.....

A Beautiful Spring Day in Rupert!

So this morning I woke up to another rainy day. So I decided to wear my flip flops, as it wasn't raining too hard. I just got home and this is what it looks like outside now........

I'm Tired....

I've got nothin new to report. I'm too busy to do anything. This is why I never took a full time job before. No time for fun anymore!! I need sleep.....

It's Official!

So today I officially became a high school teacher! For the moment at least. Last Wednesday I was approached about a job teaching Humanities 8, Social Studies 10, and Social Studies 11, full time. The job was to start Thursday......the next day!! It had to be posted and officially became mine at 4:25pm today! Wow! Talk about jumping into it. I've been teaching for 5 days now and have been BUSY, to say the least. But this is a good thing for me for a few reasons. Most importantly for the money and the experience. I know what your thinking.....I actually took a full time job! And high school at that! I may be a little crazy, but it feels like the right thing to do for some reason. Maybe turning 30 has actually made me grow up a little????? I also got accepted with the recruiting agency in Vancouver. So I am off to China......or some other Asian country.....come September. Change is in the air it seems. Wish me luck!
