Signs of Spring

Last week I walked out of my house and saw the first flowers of spring. I was so excited I had to take a picture. There is actually grass starting to grow again and green buds on the trees. Very exciting!

A Very Rainy Sunday of Shopping

A Sunday afternoon of shopping started with a wicked breakfast. I tried to find shoes this day, and it is officially impossible for me to find shoes that are a) ones I like AND b) my size.
This is Nikki's coffee.

Me and Nik at a fantastic little brunch place in Iteawon. She had a cappiccino and french toast with fried bananas and I had an americano and eggs benny. Delish!!!!

An old Korean woman was wearing the American flag around her shoulders in Iteawon. Why you ask? Good question. That's Korea for you.

Some random Koreans in neon tights, carrying math signs. We couldn't figure out what they were for. Some advertising but for what? I don't know.

Kinder Birthdays for March

Here are the three birthday boys for the month of March, Kevin, William and Brian.

This is Andy Oh and Ginie from my new class. Andy Oh was a bit of a challenge at the beginning but he is getting much better lately, pretty smart little kid. And Ginie is super quiet, but such sweet heart.

This is Catherine, one of my new K's. She is like a 65 year old woman(especially when her Grandma dresses her for school!) trapped in the body of a child. She such a little know it all. You have GOTTA love her though! So cute.

Seungwon, some of the kids sure know how to pose for photos!

This is Erica and Seungwon, from Rose class, who I teach Reading to.

This is Angela, one of my new K's, and she is such a little character.

This is Ashley, one of my new K's, and she is sooo cute.

One of my Korean Teachers, and friend, Meg with the kids who are handing out all their birthday presents.

This is Michelle, my new K's, she's quiet but a little sweetie.

This is Andy Lee, my new K's, and his most often repeated line is "TEACHER...I'm SO VERY tired!"

This is Kevin, another of my new K's, he's a little sweet heart. When he gets excited he likes to speak in a high pitched voice and randomly fall on the floor.

This is Juna, he is one of my more challenging students. Let's just say he's not really into school.

This is Ian from my new Kinder class(Tulip Class). He's such a sweet heart, the best smile.

William got "SO MANY presents Teacher!"

A Few Random Pics

This machine is in a lot of Starbucks. If you return your to-go cup you get 100 won back=10 cents. One day me and John C were pumping out the change, we couldn't figure out what it was for. But eventually we did, and thankfully you could put the money back in the machine too! Haha. You could really take as much as you want!

The kite one of our friends was flying one Sunday afternoon. It eventually got stuck in a tree....I'm not sure if they ever got it out....me and Nikki had to pee. Sorry guys.

John T in our staff room with the MASSIVE umbrella that we got as our gift for going to the Poly Conference. Thanks Poly, I will be loving that in monsoon season!

Nikki sending some love home to Canada. We're just on the subway after our Poly conference all day Saturday. Missed the St. Patties day parade in Seoul because of it. We were not too happy about that! Going to meet the gang in Iteawon for further celebrations.
