The Second Half Of Our Island Getaway

Katie the mermaid

Josh

Allison

Nikki and Katie

The pose of the weekend!

Chillin at the hotel after the beach. We had the whole back area to ourselves. It was like being in someones backyard!

There was some intense games of jenga goin on!

Dinner time!

Look! It's Pork Master Flash!

Down at the beach. We were going to try and sit with some random people at their fire, but Allison wouldn't have it and they went on a hunt for supplies for our own fire. I was in charge of building it. Did I do you proud Mom?!

A few Korean asked if they could join us, then it turned into a huge crowd. We almost got pushed out from our own fire. But don't worry...we didn't let that happen. Nikki finally asked the singing hippies to leave...haha.

We sent the guys for wood...and this is what they came back with!

The next day.

The hangover food aftermath.

On Sunday it poured rain. Good thing we were heading home!

My new camera!!!

I got an awesome new camera last week! A Nikon D40x and I love it. Here are a few of the first pics I took when I got home!!

Brad's Birthday

Wasn't really in the photo taking mood, so there isn't many, but here's the ones I got! A good night out with the gang!
The token photo of the birthday boy in his birthday hat.

This is Clarence and Sydney's baby girl. She is literally one of the cutest kids I've ever seen.

Can you guess what Brad's thinking? "How am I ever going to blow out ALL of those candles?" Yup.

I GOT A BIKE!!!

One of my new purchases!! I got a bike!! Can you believe it!? I know most of you are shaking you head in disbelief but there it is! AND....I actually ride it!! Ha ha. The first weekend I got it we rode on the bike path and went a few cities away(not as far as it sounds as they are all connected) and went for dinner. The bottom pic is of Katie and her ridiculously huge salad.

Another soccer game in Suwon

Went to another game and it was a great time. Had to sit way up this time as seats were sold out on the north end where all the Suwon fans sit. They won again. I think I'm good luck;o)

Just another interesting Tshirt in Korea that makes you go...hmmmmmmm.

Waiting for the Subway

In January they opened up a subway stop about a 20 minute walk from our apartments. But we are the second to last stop on one of the subway lines....and its a very looooooong line.

The streets of Insadong on Buddah's Birthday

A bum on the streets enjoying some soju, which is the drink of choice here and dirt cheap!

Teachers Day!

So Teachers Day is a very exciting day for teachers. It's not so much a day to show your appreciation for your children's teachers.....as so much as a day to get your bribes in so you kid gets more attention. A win win situation don't you think! :o) Here are a few of the goodies that I got.....yes thats a Ralph Lauren wallet, and some Gucci and Chanel perfume you see! Notice how my name is spelled on one of the presents! Ha ha. I must add that he was a new student!
