Bariloche......or am I Back in Canada?¿?¿

So Friday....we rent a brand new VW Gol(not Golf) and drive to Punta Tombo. After getting a little lost, we finally found our way, and drove down the gravel road to get there(2.5 hours!) At this colony there is some 750,000 penguins. It was like a city of penguins. They have little burrows dug out in the hills, and they are everywhere. They also have little penguin babies right now. So cute. They were a little more spread out than we expected but we got to get right up and personal with them. We even had a few of them tour us around. They are so freakin cute when they walk. We also got to see an amradillo(from a distance). It was nice to have a car, and drive again after so long(I´m the only one who can drive manual!), and do it all on our own time. Without a big group of people. A good day. After a nice dinner back in Puerto Madryn, we head to the bus station for a 13 hour bus ride to Bariloche.

We arrive in the morning and it is pissing rain. Its on the lake, surrounded by mountains, green, and its raining! I feel like I am transported back to Rupert! The lake is so big it looks like the harbour in Rupert. It is beautiful, and the city is a little like Whistler. Our hostel is great, new, very cozy with a great view of the lake and surrounding mountains. Has a mountain lodge kind of feel. Check it out...www.barilochehostel.com.ar

We havent done too much here. Its pretty cold, a chilly 10 degrees today! Enjoying the city, new friends at the hostel, and some of the surrounding views. Today we took a chair lift up a mountain and saw a fantastic view of the lake and mountains. Its so beautiful here. Just wish it was a little warmer. Tomorrow we are taking a ferry to a Island in the lake and going to a national forest.

So thats all from me. Hope you are all well. Take care.
XOXO
